No human is ever 100% right all the time. None of the prophets were 100% right all of the time. The disciples were not 100% right all the time. It is okay to be wrong sometimes, for it is where our humility lives.
Jesus was even corrected at least once according to the written account of his time with the disciples.
Our mistake is thinking when we find or learn we are wrong that we should hide it. Instead, acknowledge it, embrace it, learn from it, and then let it go.
You are not God even though you were made in his image. An image is rarely an exact replication of the original.
