The Royal Omelet meditation is the last addition to the meditation series began during the summer and fall of 2010. Have no fear, I have no intention of stopping this series as God breathes new life into my writer’s heart. Enjoy!

Living a life destined for greatness is comparable to holding a newborn baby for the very first time and looking into their eyes. In both, possibilities exist. There is a potential for endless opportunities. There are visions of future manifestations, which are shimmering toward the brim of a joyous reality as it reaches its zenith. Yet, the path to achievement is hidden by the trials of fit for duty. Seeing a cracked egg and envisioning a royal omelet requires innovation and a chef’s touch. Meet my chief chef, father God. I once was all yoke and today, I rest upon the king’s plate a truffle crusted royal omelet.

The road less traveled is most often the road designed and preordained by God for your deliverance. Leaving the road most traveled is the greatest test of faith. It requires an unwavering faith in God to excavate the shrubs, trees, rocks and stones, cut through the valleys, or spread out the mountains; but to know he will lift you above it all if you see your wings instead of your path.

We are his angelic agents within the Earth, if we lack the belief in his power; how can we bring others into the fold?

We walk through life striving to compromise for the sake of peace. Somehow in the process we lose a piece of ourselves. Someone recently asked, what is the difference between a compromise and self-devaluation. My response spiritually inspired: Compromise is altering one’s preference to accommodate another. Self-devaluation is allowing another to violate your fence to keep up the neighborhood connection.

Have you allowed someone to infringe upon your property rights? If so, make a plan to recover what should not have been given or taken?

Day 270 – Meditation Series: The Essence of Light

Light is transformational. Jesus is the light of the world. He came, lived, walked, died, and through resurrection he transformed the world. He did. We are miniature version of Jesus in the Earth. We are thus, also light. Is your light hindering progression or transforming depression through elevation of your inner lighthouse. The light never diminishes. It is our lack of spring cleaning that covers the windows within from shining the light with-out.

Day 269 – Meditation Series: Grocery List

Consider the grocery list of your heart. Now ponder the words from your mouth’s grocery basket. Most often what you place in your heart eventually travels to the storage of your stomach. The aroma will seep out your mouth. Oh what a blessing it would be and a gift to self to check our heart’s grocery list before preparing dinner for others? If I check my plate, I have less time to devour yours.

Day 268 – Meditation Series: Signature Ring of Trust, Faith, Knowledge, and Character

My Alma Mater has a signature class ring. It is the only available version of the class ring to deserving graduates. At center rests a cross in an oval setting. On the left side of the cross the word truth begins the story of a Servant Leader. Immediately after the word truth rests the word faith. Directly beneath faith on the lower right hand section of the cross is the word knowledge. Adjacent to knowledge on the lower left hand side of the cross is the word character.

I have reflected countless times about the interlinking of these four words. My mediation produced: a trust in God creates an ability to have faith in God’s purpose. Inspired by faith in God, we gain knowledge of who God is, in us and throughout the universe. Through our knowledge of God, his seekers and actionaries show the character of God. We are Servant Leaders.

Day 267: Meditation Series – Trust in God

Trust in God with all your might. Before you can learn to trust God, you must learn to know God. When you know God, you realize his character. When you view his character, you experience his governance in supreme sovereignty. It is here we earn trust and our lives are transformed. Some call it rejuvenation in its purest form of exfoliation of spiritual waste.

Day 266 – Meditation Series: Belief

Belief in one’s self is futile without trust in the source of active production. Belief in others is risky without faith in the inner being light others have. Belief in an institution is belief in rocks, stones, clay, plaster, and with no motivator to carry the torch with the lighter. A belief in God encompasses all you need. Yet, few people seek the one true originator of the impossible possibility of an exceptional producer capable of defying the impossible through a belief in the infinite sovereign benefactor.
