One of my most consoling scriptures is Luke chapter 12 verses 11 through 12.
It speaks to the ever involving epitome of my faith. For those who believe in Jesus’ gifting of the Holy Spirit, we know there is a helper with us and in us. For this reason, today, more than most, do not be afraid of what you will say or do when the hours arrives, for your helper is with you and will speak for you, speak through your, and speak about you before the hour is at hand.

I love the movie, “The Great Debaters” for its most commonly known mantra of “We do what we have to do in order to do what we want to do”.
I believe this is true about everything in life.

I do not feel guilty about wanting me time.
No matter what you do, say, or think – I still do not feel guilty.

Quitting has never been an option for me, because quitting says, “God, I don’t trust you to get me through it”.
That’s a lie.
So, I persevere.

On occasion, I find myself asking for advice when I already know the answer.
Somehow, hearing someone else confirm what we already know to be true helps us make the decision we already knew we would make.

I am amazed by people regretting their age.
Many people in the grave wish they were their age.

I am highly interested, extremely motivated, or overly obsessed with things that matter to me. The other side to this truth is not everything matters to me

Beauty is an inner strength.
Love is an internal emotion.
The beauty of love is your external beauty does not matter.

God built you for the battle and he equipped you for the war.
Sometimes, we have to realize he even designed the regrouping.

Before we can overcome our fears, we must first overcome our doubts about who we really are.
Who do you say you are?
Who do you think you are?
Who are you really?

Each moment we live provides an opportunity for newness, for self-discovery, and for new beginnings. The nomad people understood the phrase, “never live in the past”.

I once took out a personal ad titled, “Now, taking applications!”
I received many replies, but one in particular made me smile.
They thought I was cocky, but I was serious.
We have to test the people we let into our life.

I have never heard anyone says,
“I wished I had not learned that!”
Occasion, you might hear,
“I wished I had not learned it that way!”
But, never, I wished I hadn’t learned it.

I learned a long time ago who fights my battles.
I learned a long time ago to let go and let God.
It is why, my lips, my voice, and my heart all belong to the one who controls the master plan.
